History
The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is one of the ancient Churches of the Christian world. This portal introduces the Church to the public. Detailed historical articles are published only after editorial review and will never invent doctrine or undocumented claims.
Faith
Tewahedo means unity: the Church confesses the incarnate Lord Jesus Christ in the Orthodox tradition received through the Apostles and the Fathers. Worship is centered on the Divine Liturgy, the fasts, the feasts, and the life of the parish.
Church structure
The Patriarchate, dioceses, churches, parishes, monasteries and institutions form the public map of the Church. Use the diocese explorer and church finder to locate a community near you.
